From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This category is used for administration of the Wikipedia project, and is not part of the encyclopedia. It contains pages which are not articles, or groups articles by status, rather than content. |
See WP:Update for monthly updates to the content of all these pages. This category is intended as a core set of Wikipedia style guidelines. It includes all of the pages in Category:Wikipedia style guidelines except:
- WP:Citing sources, WP:External links, and WP:Footnotes;
- style guidelines in Category: Wikipedia image help;
- style guidelines that tend to be discussed by particular wikiprojects and apply to particular types of articles, such as Wikipedia:Manual of style (mathematics) and WP:Stub; and
- new style guidelines that haven't attracted much discussion.
Please post a message at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style if you add or are thinking of adding a page to this category. People are encouraged to write style guidelines on new topics, but group efforts work best.
