List of countries by traffic-related death rate

This List of countries by traffic-related death rate shows the annual number of road fatalities per capita and per vehicle-km. The UC Atlas of Global Inequality report that according to the World Health Organization, road traffic accidents do not appear as one of the top ten causes of death in developing countries, although they are the 6th most common cause of death in developed nations.^[1] Note: Neither the number of road fatatities per capita, nor the number of road fatalites per vehicle-km are necessarily indicators of road-traffic safety.
