İzmirspor is a Turkish sports club based in İzmir, Turkey. The club played in the First League during the late 1950s and majority of the 1960s. Famous players of the club are Metin Oktay, Güven Önüt and Semih Şentürk. They merged with Göztepe and renamed as Doğanspor in 1937. Some supporters of İzmirspor opposed the merger and founded Ateşspor in 1938. Doğanspor renamed again Göztepe in 1939. Ateşspor also renamed as İzmirspor at same year.
