Khazri (Azeri: Xəzri) is a name of the cold north sea wind which blows across the Absheron Peninsula and particularly Baku throughout the year. Khazri is the gale-force coastal wind and one of the prevailing winds in the area. The speed of khazri sometimes reaches forty meters a second[1], which damages some fields of the economy. However, the wind brings desired coolness in summer.
