Bhayandar is the name of a railway station on the Mumbai suburban railway on the Western Railway (India) railway line.

Placed between Mira Road and Naigaon Bhayandar is one of the populated station on western line. Local train facilities are available in Bhayandar. Bhayandar Local Timings: 6:22 AM (Slow till Andheri), 7:45 AM (At arrival does not stop Between Borivali and Bhayandar), 8:25 AM, 9:38 AM for Dadar, 9:53 AM (At arrival does not stop between Borivali and Bhayandar), 11:10 AM, 11:56 AM, 12:14 PM (Slow), 12:46 PM, 1:31 PM, 3:06 PM, 4:13 PM, 4:45 PM, 5:00 PM, 5:32 PM, 7:29 PM, 7:52 PM, 8:30 PM (Andheri Slow). As this place is now developing as Terminal Station with large yard area soon and Western Railway have plan to double the train services started and ended at Bhayandar.

The successful survey have been made by railway authority to start Bhayandar-Thane corridor, awaited the sanction from Central Government. This will be dream Joint project of Western and Central Railway combine.

Further this area is declared as Special Economical Zone (SEZ) for Tourism Industry. This status will change the Image of Bhayandar soon. Shortly Bhayandar West will be connected to Link road passing Dahisar-Borivali-Malad-Bandra.

In Bhayander there are many people stay .
