The Aufklärungs- und Gefechtsfahrzeug ("reconnaissance and combat vehicle"), sometimes it is also called Serval, is a significantly modified version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class procurred by the German Army for the KSK in 2003. It is produced by the German company Rheinmetall and 21 vehicles were delivered to the KSK and some more to the reconnaissance detachment of the Swiss army.
