Untitled[edit]

I added an Wikipedia:NPOV tag to the 'Significance' section, because it includes way too much unsourced opinion. I don't know much about Pasolini so I can't solve it myself. Maybe it would be an idea to include some sourced opinions about Pasolini? Junes 01:01, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

Historical_pederastic_couples[edit]

lists him with Ninetto Davoli? Nameme 04:50, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

How and when Pasolini's father saved the life of Mussolini?

Argh who wrote this CRAP??![edit]

"New evidence this year (2005) points to Pasolini being murdered by an extortionist. The 17 year old that was found guilty of killing him, Pino Pelosi, revealed this year that three men with a southern Italian accent killed him. Testimony by Pasolini's friend Sergio Citti indicates that some of the film rolls from Salò were stolen and Pasolini was going to meet with the thieves after a visit to Stockholm, November 2, 1975. He told others that he knew he would be murdered by the Mafia. Shortly after he was found dead in Ostia outside Rome."

A 17-year-old boy that was found guilty of killing him can't have murdered Pasolini back in 1975. He could probably have been born in about 1958 and was 17 *back* *then*. Jeez. -andy 80.129.124.153 16:38, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Appunti per un'Orestiade Africana (Notes Towards an African Orestes, 1975)[edit]

Does anyone know if the script - in written form (not VHS/DVD) - is available in English. It is in Italian I believe. Thanks. Jacques Custard 19:39, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Manifestants is not a word in English is it? Is there a reason to use the French in this case? If not, why not just write protesters or demonstraters?

This remains a mess[edit]

The title of "Ragazzi de vita" is translated in two different ways, and run-on sentences are rampant.

I may send in a friend who speaks Italian, or an old prof who's had a life long interest in PP to clear this up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.65.215.26 (talk) 04:59, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Comment in 2012 from ginestre — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.12.225.129 (talk) 08:07, 6 February 2012 (UTC) Three years later this is still a complete mess. I don't know much about Pasolini, which is why I came to read it, but I know enough about reading to see the article is highly tendentious in the bits I can follow, and since many sentences are incomprehensible there are a large number of bits that I can't. What a pity. It's a blot on the wikipedia.

I Agree. I actually did know a bit about Pasolini who deserves much better than this carelessness, which includes a failure to even include all his films: "Comizi D'Amore", a wonderful and wry documentary, seems never to have existed if you trust Wikipedia with Pasolini's legacy.2602:304:6898:8CB9:CA4:27BA:8E1:67CB (talk) 17:48, 2 October 2012 (UTC) Prefer actual history to this mishmosh of opinion and bad grammar.

Protection[edit]

Edit request on 5 October 2013[edit]

I would like to revert an edit made by an IP who apparently seemed to edit without consensus. If it was possible to make a small edit to said article, I would appreciate it. N0n3up (talk) 01:41, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

The page was protected, most likely on the wrong version to stop you edit warring with an IP. You don't seem to have had any discussion whatsoever with the IP over the disputed edit. Come to a consensus and the page will be un-protected. Woody (talk) 20:01, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Salo[edit]

i am seeking other users opinions or whether or not salo belongs in the notable works portion of the infobox, it has been there for years until recently when the matter has come under some dispute solely by the user N0n3up — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.137.42.20 (talk) 22:22, 6 October 2013 (UTC)

I think so, it is a notable work of his. thank you for starting a discussion. it's the best way to handle disagreements. -- Aunva6talk - contribs 22:45, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
