Gabriel Iglesias

Gabriel Iglesias (born on July 15, 1976 in Chula Vista, California) is a comedian who is best known for his loud Hawaiian shirts, funny voices, and animated style of comedy. He is the self-proclaimed "Fluffy Man" (as opposed to fat), in reference to his large frame. He has made several guest appearances on such television shows as The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Showtime at the Apollo, Que Locos as well as three of his own specials on Comedy Central, one of which was voted the half-hour "special of the year for 2003". In 2000, he was a series regular for season 6 of All That on Nickelodeon. In 2006, Iglesias was a finalist in the fourth season of "Last Comic Standing", until he was eliminated for using a cellphone and BlackBerry in violation of the contest agreement. Iglesias was recently named Comedian of the Year by Comedy Central in 2006.

Iglesias has done a few independent films and voiceover work for Disney Emperor's New School and his most recent project was a one hour special called Hot & Fluffy which aired August 4th, 2007, and was released to DVD on August 8th, 2007.

Iglesias can be seen in comedy clubs nationally, touring with his friends and fellow comedians, Martin Moreno and Noe Gonzalez.
