VALUATIONS
State land valuations – disclaimer and agreement to access
A link appears below to July 2007 State valuations that have been issued
by the Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Water.
Any questions about the State valuations should be directed to the Department
of Natural Resources and Water (www.nrw.qld.gov.au)
on 1300 664 217.
Council is NOT involved in the State valuation process other than being
required to pay the State more than $50,000 annually for supply of valuation
and other data.
Council has made the new State valuations available on its web site as
a service to ratepayers who are unable to access printed valuation rolls
that are available at the Department and Council during office hours.
Esk Shire Council is the first known council to do so.
Council does not freely provide owners’ names and postal addresses
as a matter of policy. The only information provided is that which the
owner would see by viewing the printed State valuation roll.
