Dimas Manuel Marques Teixeira (born 16 February 1969 in Johannesburg, South Africa), known simply as Dimas (pron. IPA: ['di.mɐʃ]), is a former footballer left defender and international for Portugal.

Dimas debuted in the Portuguese first division aged 18, in 1987 with Académica Coimbra, where he stayed for two seasons, even after they were relegated to the second division. He then joined Estrela da Amadora where he returned to top-flight football, later earning a move to Vitória Guimarães. Two seasons there were more than enough to earn him a transfer to SL Benfica in 1994-1995, and a further step ahead in his career was given after he transferred to Juventus during the 1996-1997 Winter transfer opening. After a season where he played in 21 matches, he only appeared once in 1998-1999, consequently moving in mid-season to Fenerbahçe, but was transferred again one year later, this time to Standard Liège.

The good run at the Euro 2000 proved he could still be of value for a title contending team, and he signed for Sporting Clube de Portugal. Finishing third, in the next season he moved again to Olympique de Marseille, after losing the spot in the first team to Rui Jorge.

He was capped 44 times (playing four times in both Euro 1996 and Euro 2000) before retiring at the end of the 2001-02 season, with two scudetti and one Portuguese league and cup in his curriculum.
