I am writing to you regarding the situation facing the indigenous Ahwazi Arabs in Iran. The oil-rich province of Khuzestan (call by its historic name of Al-Ahwaz by the local Arab inhabitants), located in the southwest of Iran. It is is the homeland of more than five million ethnic Arabs. It was annexed in 20 April 1925 by the Iranian monarch Reza Khan, who overthrew the autonomous government of Sheikh Khaza'al. In 1936, Iran changed the emirate's name from Arabistan (Al-Ahwaz) to Khuzestan. Reza Shah began a policy of ethnic cleaning to reduce the native Arab population. This plan has been continued by the current theocratic regime. A letter written by former Vice-President Muhamad Ali Abtahi,

which was leaked to the media last year, outlined plans for the ethnic cleaning of Ahwazi Arabs. It stated that the province´s

Arab population must be reduced from 70% of the total population to 30% by in-immigration of the layal non Arabs to racially exclusive settelements and the resettling of Arabs elsewhere in Iran. Khuzestan provice, which is still called Al-Ahwaz by Arab inhabitants, has the second largest oil reserve outside Saudi Arabia. Government policy has followed the ethnic cleansing plans stipulated in the letter. In the new disaster, Iranian terroristic regime were executed 11 Ahwazi Arabs. The men commended were found guilty of bombing of Iranian oil installation in 2005, and waging war on god from the revolutionary court. The court had commended them without any evidence. These men are innocent. They were under the torture for several months, and confessions were taken for the crime under the torture. They were accused by the Iranian revolutionary court and were sentenced to death by being hanged with the cranes. Their court in this injustice situation was held behind closed doors. The witnesses were refused to testify. Lawyers of the accused were not allowed to meet or talk with them until just one day before the trial, thus giving an impression of fairness in the justice system but in reality, there was insufficient time for the assigned lawyers to study the cases in a reasonable manner. While the verdicts were just in one day in the injustice situation, the accused were put to death by being hanged in the public square of Al-Ahwaz. All these innocent victims were framed for crimes they did not commit. These acts by the Iranian Government are just one of the many ways to intimidate the Ahwazi Arabs and to silent their voice to cry for a little justice and human rights, especially since the last event of peaceful protest on 15th April, 2005. In addition, those lawyers of the innocent victims are themselves being arrested and accused of endangering for Iranian National Security and Territorial Integrity. As it as unrepresented nation and people organization (UNPO) and UN high comission of refugee and UN essembly and all the human rights organizathin have been commended (condemned) Iranian regime for executed of Ahwazi Arabs, the mass execution of Ahwazi Arabs continuously follow the plans of the ethnic cleaning of Ahwazi Arabs. The rest of these 11 persons by according of UN information were hanged by Iranian regim. As it as European parlimen,(UNPO), human rights organizations have commended Iran and wanted of the regim to stopped the mass executios of Ahwazi Arabs, regim of Tehran carlessly continue to killing the Ahwazi Arabs. 4) Abdoreza Sanawati (Alzergani) 5) Ghasem Salamat 6) Mohammad Kaab Por 7) Abdol Amir Faragollah Kaab 8) Alireza Asakereh 9) Magid Alboghobeish 10) Khalaf Khezeiery 11) Abdolla Fallah Almansori, (He has nationality of the Netherlands, was arrested by the Syrian authority and submitted to Iranian regime) 11) Saaid Hamidan Alsaki, (He was granted a refugee status by the Norwegian government, was arrested by Syrian authority and submitted to Iranian regime ) In addition to the above, and from the most recent information obtained, the following is added to our victim list. Those people were sentenced to execution by hanging with crans. Right now there are around 28000 of Ahwazi Arabs in the notrious Iranian prisons, since the peaceful protest intifada 15th of April 2005. from this number 150 were killed secrat and 130 diapeared. The number of imprisonment will going to increasing by the Iranian brutlity actions. Enclosed please find a document for your reference(www.Ahwazhumanrights.org). We are in urgent need of help from you, all the human rights organizations and democratic nations, and we are asking all to please stand up for us Ahwazi Arab people to stop the ethnic clean sign and stop these murders.

Sincerely yours,

Ali Naseri
