Brescia University is a coeducational Catholic university located in Owensboro, Kentucky, in the United States. It was founded in 1950 by the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph[1] as Brescia College. It became an accredited university in 1998 with the addition of Master's degree programs in Curriculum and Instruction, and Management.

The Brescia Bearcats participate in the NAIA (Division 1 for men's and women's basketball) and the KIAC. The Bearcats field 13 sports 7 for women 6 for men.
