.bl is a future Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) that is likely to be created for Saint Barthélemy, following the decision on 21 September 2007 by the ISO 3166 Maintenance Agency to allocate BL as the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code for Saint Barthélemy[1]. This decision followed Saint Barthélemy's new status as an Overseas collectivity of France which took effect on July 15[2]. Currently Saint Barthélemy uses Guadeloupe's ccTLD, .gp[3] and France's ccTLD, .fr[3].
