The New Mogwai Album Cover Is Disappointing
Guess a silly tracklist calls for silly artwork, huh, Mogwai? But why waste such an awesome image on a teaser EP featuring an equally silly tracklist and then put THAT on your album? It just doesn't make sense. It's like using up all of your energy during foreplay and then falling asleep when it's time to get down to business.
The Batcat EP is out September 8 in the UK and September 9 in the U.S. The Hawk Is Howling is out September 22 in the UK and September 23 in the U.S. Matador handles the U.S. releases, while PIAS/Wall of Sound takes care of the rest of the world.
