Hi Major Mike
I was browsing online and heard about a Legend of Zelda game that was supposed to be released on the NES, but wasn't. I read that the ideas for this third Zelda game went into Link to the Past. Is there any truth to this?

I haven't heard about such a game for the NES. It may be that the idea was too big for the hardware at the time, and Nintendo decided to do it later. Sorry, I'm not much help on this one...
