All Girl Summer Fun Band Return With Third Album

While the Pop Group may have "one of the most misleading band names in rock history," All Girl Summer Fun Band is pretty much the most spot-on name for a thing since, well, people began giving names to things.

A band (check!) comprised entirely of females (check!) that has unflaggingly crafted over two albums' worth of carefree, summery (check!) music about such fun (check!) topics as charm bracelets, daydreams, and Canadian boyfriends, All Girl Summer Fun Band return September 23 with their third album and first in five years. Hey, wait a minute-- isn't September 23 in autumn??

Yes it is, but don't hold it against these ladies. Looking Into It, released via the Girls' own AGSFB Music imprint, packs in 11 new jams that rock just a (t)wee bit harder than their predecessors. The Band is looking a bit leaner and meaner this time out too, having reduced to a trio (comprised of Jen Sbragia (ex-Softies), Kim Baxter, and that doll from the Thermals, Kathy Foster) following the departure of bassist/drummer Ari Douangpanya.

At the moment, we haven't a single AGSFB gig to get all giddy about. :-(

Looking Into It:

01 Not the One for Me
02 Something New
03 Oh No
04 Trajectory
05 Lost
06 Everything I Need
07 The Only Ones
08 Rewind
09 Looking Into It
10 Plastic Toy Dream
11 This Will Never End
