The My Bloody Valentine catalog is hitting the internet at last. Starting today, August 26, Rhino Records will offer MBV's landmark Isn't Anything and Loveless albums for purchase as downloads. This is the first time the two albums will be available digitally in their entirety (they were previously only available in truncated versions). The 1991 EP Tremelo also has its inaugural digital release today. Plus, the music videos for "Only Shallow", "Soon", "Swallow" and "To Here Knows When" will be available for download, marking their first commercial release in any form.

UPDATE: Many readers have written in indicating that these videos were previously available on the 1992 video The Story of Creation. According to Rhino, only clips of the videos were included in The Story of Creation, and this is the first time the full videos are available for purchase.

All this reissue fever comes in the midst of the shoegaze pioneers' unprecedented 2008 return, which finally makes its way to the States next month for the inaugural ATP New York event MBV co-curated and the tour that'll follow. First up are stops at Ireland's Electric Picnic Festival and England's Bestival, though your first stop should be the drug store for a fresh set of earplugs.
