Neusoft Corporation or Neusoft Group Ltd. (Simplified Chinese: 东软集团, Traditional Chinese: 東軟) is the largest software development and IT Services company in China. It was founded in 1991. It is a high-tech company with 12,000 employees as of July 2007. Neusoft is a publicly held company, its stock listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange with stock ID 600718. It is headquartered in Shenyang, China. The Chairman and CEO is Dr. Liu Jiren. Neusoft has established overseas subsidiaries in Japan and the USA, and service center offices in the Middle East, Europe and South Asia.

Neusoft was founded by Northeastern University professors Liu Jiren and Li Huatian in 1988 as the Computer Software and Networks Engineering Research Laboratory of Northeastern University.
Incorporated at Northeastern University, China in 1991, Neusoft has rapidly expanded its scope from software and services, and IT education and training, to medical systems.
Neusoft is supported by a staff of over 12,000, providing high quality products and services to 9,000 large-size customers in and outside of China. The company has branches in over forty cities throughout China, and subsidiaries in the USA and Japan. It also has offices in Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.
"Neusoft" is an acronym for NorthEastern University SOFTware.

As the leading[citation needed] software and solutions provider in China, the core of Neusoft's business portfolio integrates implementation, consulting and services for: software and middleware, industry solutions, IT outsourcing, and BPO (business process outsourcing).
- Software and middleware: Database management systems, Network security products, Medical imaging management systems, Knowledge management, Application software management platform, MPC, Human resources management systems, Marketing management systems, SMIAS (Short Message Internet Access System), and e-Learning courseware.
- Industry solutions: dedicated solutions for telecommunications, electricity, social insurance, education, taxation, finance and securities, transportation, tobacco, radio and TV, medical and healthcare, e-Government, enterprise and other industries.
- IT outsourcing: software development outsourcing services, ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) implementation and consultation, IT technical support services.
- Business process outsourcing: Call center, IDC, Data Processing Service.

Neusoft's technology accumulation and R&D experience in the fields of embedded software, image reconstruction and data processing expertise has provided key technical support to Neusoft and its partners in its development of medical equipment.
- Medical equipment: over 40 types of medical products in eight categories: CT scanner, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Laser Imager, Clinical Lab Equipment, Holter monitor, and related Consumables.
- e-Hospital Solutions: HIS, PACS, and Telemedicine systems.
- Chinese Market: ranked no. 1 local medical equipment and solutions provider in China. More than 2,000 clients purchasing large-scale medical equipment.
- International Market: CT and MRI products have been exported to over 20 countries including USA, Italy, Russia, Finland, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, and Cameroon.
In 2004, Neusoft Medical Systems signed a joint venture with Philips (Netherlands) to develop and manufacture computed tomography (CT scanner), MRI, Ultrasound and x-ray equipment.

Neusoft operates four IT Education and Training institutes in Shenyang, Dalian, Chengdu, and Nanhai. The four industrial development bases and service platforms are collectively known as Neusoft Parks or Neusoft Institute of Information.
The main university campus (where the company was founded) is Northeastern University Biomedical and Information Engineering School in Shenyang.

Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information is the largest of the three Neusoft Institutes. It was founded in 2000, and is situated in Dalian's Software Park, covering an area of 500,000 square meters with 350,000 square meters of buildings, etc. Dalian Neusoft has 9 buildings for classroom and education, 4 buildings for employees (including those from Neusoft, HP and Alpine), and 15 student dormitories. Beginning with 185 undergraduates in 2000, currently over 10,000 fulltime students enroll in Dalian Neusoft Institute. Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information is an independently run branch of China's Northeastern University.
Dr. Tao Wen is currently the President of the Dalian Neusoft of Information.

Dalian Neusoft currently offers the following Bachelor's Programs: Computer Science and Technology; Software Engineering; E-Commerce; Management Information System; Logistics Management; HR Management; Digital Arts Animation; Electronic Information Engineer Embedded System Engineering; English; and Japanese.

Many foreign students (primarily from Russia, South Korea, and Japan) study at Neusoft's Dalian campus to study Mandarin Chinese as well as receive an IT education and Computer Science.
In mid-July, 2007, the Japanese company SCS sent 96 new employees to study Chinese as well as IT systems for two weeks. 15 students from the Dalian campus studying the Japanese major at Neusoft assisted these 96 employees as guides and as translators.
Also arriving in July 2007 at the Dalian campus were Seoul college students who came to Neusoft University to study Chinese for approximately one month.

Neusoft's partnerships in Japan are with: Alpine Electronics, Fujitsu, Hitachi, NEC, Panasonic, Sony, and Toshiba.
In 1991, Neusoft launched its first joint venture partnership with the assistance of Alpine Electronics.

Neusoft has four corporate software R&D campuses in China. The main university campus is located in Shenyang, as is the headquarters of the company. The others are located in Dalian, Nanhai and Chengdu.
