Das Schwarze Korps, defunct SS-Newspaper in the Nazi Reich, frontpage shot (selected cartoon with caption), 22 July 1937 (Ausgabe: 22. Juli 1937 N.Ztr.[New Era, AD]....).

Caption: "She is not pretty, but at least she can cook well." Behind Eugenio Cardinal Pacelli, who is implied to fornicate with a Jewess (symbolizing the French Communist paper L'Humanité) to combat against National Socialism and to be an enemy of Nazi Germany, is the poison kitchen of Communism and Socialism in Western Europe.

The cartoon was made to imply an alliance of western socialists with the Vatican, both condemning the Hitler rule. L'Humanité prime caption in the cartoon reads: "Christenverfolgung in Deutschland." ("Persecution of Christians in Germany!")

The cartoons came even before Mit brennender Sorge and continued more verociously after 1939, when a papal encyclical (Humani Generis Unitas) of the Roman Pontiff Achille Ratti (Pope Pius XI), prepared to condemn by excommunication all antisemites, was blocked, but became known to German spies.

Rationale: this cartoon (frontpage selection) is essential to illustrate the articles in which it is made use of. It is essential for illustration and proof. The newspaper it was published in is no longer capable of having any legal rights and all conditions of use of even non-free newspaper images were observed, including low pixel quality.
