Pope Benedict has become a bestselling author, his biography of Jesus Christ selling around 2.5 million copies and came eighth on Italy's best sellers list. [1] Due to his large number of sales an entire volume of his works is to be published across the world in English, Italian, German and many other languages.[2] The royalaties from Benedict's books go to the Ratzinger Foundation, the Pope's personal charity which funds poor students across the world.
