ELK TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Four people are dead after a car crash in Gloucester County on Thursday night.State Police said 18-year-old Jon Nordberg, of Pilesgrove, drove a Honda Accord off the roadway on Route 55 in Elk Township and into the back of a parked street sweeper.The driver died, along with three passengers -- 17-year-old Rhonda Giorno; 19-year-old Matthew Funk and 23-year-old Shaheem Hamilton.
A 2-month-old girl in the car survived with only minor injuries. The baby's address was the same as Nordberg and Giorno's.State police also said the rear rotors of a state helicopter at the scene clipped the roof of an ambulance at the scene. That did not cause any injuries or severe damage, though.
