The Heineken Cup enjoys extensive television coverage from the tournaments’ broadcast partners across Europe and in over 100 countries worldwide.
This includes up to nine live games per European weekend with additional games broadcast delayed live as well as highlights coverage. This is complimented by comprehensive magazine and news coverage of all the action.

The European Challenge Cup has received a major boost this season by securing live coverage from Sky Sports, France 4 and Eurosport France with a minimum of two games per weekend being broadcast live.

Sky Sports broadcast exclusive live coverage of the Heineken Cup throughout the UK and Ireland. Fans can enjoy up to six live games for each Pool weekend with additional games shown as delayed live. Sky Sports will also carry all knock-out games live including the Heineken Cup final and one European Challenge Cup game each weekend.
Sky’s extensive European club rugby coverage includes the Rugby Club on Thursday evening and European Rugby Special on Sunday evenings which features highlights of the weekend’s Heineken Cup and European Challenge Cup action.

ERC’s French broadcast partners, France Televisions, broadcast comprehensive coverage of the Heineken Cup which includes one live game on Saturday and one live game on Sunday on the terrestrial France 2 channel. RTE Television in Ireland broadcast full delayed coverage of Heineken Cup games involving Munster and Leinster throughout the season. RTE’s Heineken Cup coverage also includes the “Against the Head” rugby magazine on Monday’s and the “Heineken Cup Road Show with Hook and Pope” on Wednesdays of Heineken Cup weeks broadcast from rugby clubs throughout Ireland.
RTE Radio are the exclusive national radiobroadcasters for the Heineken Cup in Ireland and offer live coverage of all games involving the Irish teams in the tournament.
