Toledo-area drivers fret as gas prices leap again
While Hurricane Ike's residual wind and rain affected the Toledo area for only a few hours on Sunday, the storm's impact on local gasoline prices lingers. And experts say it could be felt for the rest of September. Despite falling crude-oil prices on world markets, gasoline prices in the United States shot up last week as Gulf Coast refineries closed in anticipation of the approaching hurricane.
