San Mateo County Measure O (June 2008)

San Mateo County Measure O (June 2008) is a countywide parks measure. It would enact a one-eighth-cent sales tax to support parks and recreation services provided by cities, special districts and the county. The funds raised by this tax would go to maintain and repair parks and trails and facilities such as public bathrooms; and preserve natural open spaces.
The measure appeared on the June 3, 2008 ballot in San Mateo County, California, where it was defeated.
