A City of Seaside Utility Tax Law Repeal election, also known as Measure E, appeared on November 4, 2008 for voters residing in the City of Seaside in Monterey, California.

The ballot measure was an attempt to repeal a utility tax law that was approved by voters in November 2002.

Measure E was defeated with 42.29% of the vote.

Shall Chapter 3.30 of the City of Seaside Municipal Code, known as the utility tax law, that was approved by Seaside voters on November 5, 2002 to maintain revenues for city services, such as police, fire, parks maintenance and street repairs in Seaside, be repealed effective as of July 1, 2009?
