Assemblies of God in Great Britain and Ireland, known as Assemblies of God in the United Kingdom, is a Pentecostal denomination, a part of the world's largest Pentecostal denomination, the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, which has a global adherence of 52.5 million people [1]. Currently the Assemblies of God in the United Kingdom has over 600 churches that are part of the denomination.

The British Assemblies of God came into being in Birmingham in 1924 and today Assemblies of God in Great Britain and Ireland has over 1,000 leaders and more than 600 churches.

[edit] Mattersey Hall

The official Bible College of Assemblies of God in Great Britain and Ireland is Mattersey Hall, a Christian College founded in London in 1919.

[edit] Kingdom Bank

Assemblies of God in Great Britain and Ireland operates its own financial institution, now a registered bank trading under the name Kingdom Bank but formerly known as Assemblies of God Property Trust.
