I don't know about you, but I smell a conspiracy.

Starting Feb. 17, 2009, you will need a special converter box to change from analog to digital on your television set (unless you have cable or satellite), otherwise you won't get a signal. Are you aware of this?

I may be wrong here, but I sense a conspiracy. I figure the cable companies got together and got the government to agree to this, just so they can get more people to make the change to cable, so they can get more money. Do you agree with this?

Yeah, you've got a point. I can see something going on here. I bet the cable companies paid off politicians in Washington to agree to this thing.

You're paranoid and delusional. There's nothing going on here except improvements in technology, and industry is encouraging the public to take advantage of it. Besides, don't you want clearer picture and sound on your TV?
