Oscar Nunez (sometimes credited as Óscar Núñez) is a Cuban American actor and comedian. Born in Cuba on November 18, 1958, he was raised in Union City, New Jersey.[1] In 1997, Nunez graduated from the Warner Bros. Comedy Writer’s Workshop and was a finalist in the 1999 ABC Latino Writers Project. He is also fluent in Spanish. In 1998, he appeared on the game show Match Game, but did not win.

Nunez founded and performed over 300 shows with The Shock of the Funny Theatre Company in New York City. Following a West Coast relocation, he joined The Groundlings' Sunday company and wrote and starred in "Smooth Down There".

He has appeared in several episodes of Reno 911!, and currently plays Oscar Martinez on the American version of The Office. He played a minor role in the film The Italian Job as a security guard. He was also the creator and executive producer of the Comedy Central series Halfway Home, in which he played the character Eulogio Pla.
