Mekteb-i Mülkiye

Mekteb-i Mülkiye was a vocational high school in the Ottoman Empire which was established on 28 January 1859. It is the core of the constitution of the modern Ankara University. The curriculum of the school was law, geography, mathematics and accounting. In 1891 the school was attached to Darülfünun’u Istanbul.
