Brian Williamson (September 4 1945 - June 9, 2004) was a Jamaican Gay rights activist and co-founder of the Jamaican forum for lesbians and gays, J-Flag. He was known for personally housing and looking after gay people in Jamaica.

He was murdered with a machete, suffering several stab wounds to neck and face. As usual in cases of violence committed against gay men, Jamaican police claimed that the killing was done by a "jealous male lover" of Williamson.

Williamson's confessed murderer, Dwight Hayden, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after fifteen years.[1]
