Anderson Luiz de Carvalho, called Nenê (born 19 July 1981, in Jundiai, São Paulo, Brazil) is a football player who currently plays for RCD Espanyol of the Spanish Primera Division. He is a goalscoring midfielder who is well known for his assists.
He started played professionally in Paulista Jundiai, at the age of 19. After that, he played for Palmeiras and Santos. He started playing in Spain in 2003 with RCD Mallorca, and after for Deportivo Alaves.
On August 24th 2007, Nenê was transferred to AS Monaco FC for an undisclosed fee. A year later he joined RCD Espanyol on a one-year loan, with a buy option for Espanyol.
