The Lawful and the Prohibited in Islam is a book by Islamic scholar Yusuf al-Qaradawi [1].

“ This book is a translation of the Arabic book " Al-Halal Wal-Haram Fil-Islam' written by Yousif al-Qardawi, an eminent Egyptian scholar, as well as that of the annotations and commentary on it, written by Allamah Shaikh Hasan Muhammad Taqi al-Jawahiri. It all contains an extensive account of an Islamic jurisprudential (fighi) subject-matter.
