Mark Bruener (born September 16, 1972 in Olympia, Washington) is an American football tight end for the Houston Texans of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers 25th overall in the 1995 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washington.

He was drafted 27th overall in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played with the Steelers for nine seasons before signing with the Houston Texans. Bruener has been more of a blocking tight end in his career.
