Flying Phantom
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Flying Phantom was a tug boat based in Greenock in Scotland. It sank in the River Clyde at Clydebank on 19 December 2007, with the loss of three of its crew of four. It was one of three tugs escorting a bulk carrier.
The incident came as a shock to many people in Scotland, since it took place in what were believed to be safe waters, during a routine operation, and conditions were not exceptional apart from thick fog.
