Joshua Mintone Herdman (September 9, 1987) is an English actor known for his roles in the Harry Potter films as Gregory Goyle.
He has starred in all five existing movies so far. He started acting when he was 7 years old; his father, Martin, is an actor and managed to get his son an agent. He also appeared in one episode of The Crust and one episode of The Bill. He was also in the 2002 Film Thunderpants with fellow Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint playing the role of the bully Damon
Herdman is 6'4 with hazel eyes and has a muscular build, thanks to his boxing training. When not filming, he enjoys playing rugby, boxing and rap music.[citation needed] He is the youngest of four brothers and currently resides in St Margarets, a village just outside of Richmond, where his family owns The Carpet Shop.
