[edit] Career

Ricky made his debut for Stampede Wrestling in Calgary in June 1988. After a year wrestling in Canada, he was offered a spot in FMW by Atsushi Onita. Ricky was a hit with the fans, especially females. In 1995, he formed the group Lethal Weapon with Mike Awesome, Hisakatsu Ooya, and Horace Boulder. He and Ooya formed a tag team named "The Love Guns." They even held the FMW Brass Knuckles Tag Team titles together. Unfortunately in 1996, Lethal Weapon disbanded.

Since the breakup, Ricky joined forces with the likes of Hayabusa and Masato Tanaka. They went into battles with factions like W*ING, ZEN, ECW Japan, and Team No Respect. Ricky was one of the wrestlers there when Hayabusa suffered a career-ending neck injury in October 2001. He was also one of the few wrestlers who stayed with FMW until its demise in February 2002. Since then, Ricky has been wrestling in Japanese independents including World Japan, WMF, and Wrestle-Aid, his own promotion.

He has competed in the Super J-Cup tournament in 1994 and in 2000.

Since 2006, he occasionally wrestles under the masked persona, Calgary Tiger.
