Wall Street received a climactic jolt on Monday when Lehman Brothers said it will file for bankruptcy. The news came as the U.S. Federal Reserve announced plans to loosen lending restrictions to the banking industry, while a group of 10 global banks agreed to create a $70 billion fund for troubled financial firms. full story
