Hannah Murray (born July 1, 1989) is an English actress. She is best known for playing the role of Cassie, a gentle, 'spacey' teen girl with an apparent eating disorder and unstated mental illness in E4's Drama/Comedy, Skins, a role which, along with most other cast members, she left at the end of the show's second series, following an announcement on March 29, 2008.

Her voice can be heard in an advertisement for the Nokia 5300. She presented the award for best solo artist at the 2007 NME Awards with Skins co-star Mike Bailey.
In May 2008 she made her stage debut in That Face, a West End production at the Duke of York's Theatre.

Murray's parents are both University lecturers. She has a place to study English at Queens' College, Cambridge.[1]
