Image:Status iucn3.1 NT.svg Near Threatened (NT or LR/nt), is close to qualifying for or is likely to qualify for a threatened category in the near future. Image:Status iucn2.3 NT.svg
No longer a Red List category Conservation Dependent (LR/cd), the focus of a continuing taxon-specific or habitat-specific conservation programme targeted towards the taxon in question, the cessation of which would result in the taxon qualifying for one of the threatened categories below within a period of five years. Translating the images is easy:

  • Save the svg images to disk
  • Open with Inkscape
  • Edit the text
  • Save as plain svg
  • (For advanced users: you may be able to avoid using inkscape, and simply edit the svg file in a text editor)
  • Add your 2-letter language code to the filename (see example, right)
  • Upload again to Commons

Also

  • Make a new Pengo IUCN/language template. E.g. {{Pengo IUCN/cs}} for Czech.
