Reason: Because of the Japanese use of L and R interchangeably in their Romanization, Macross Frontier is also sometimes spelled Macross Flontier. Ironically, it's also in the official Macross Frontier logo. It seems, though, that they have redacted the use of Flontier for the most part as it's only found in google searches, cached materials, and source code of various official sites. One in particular is the Satelight Ink page for Macross Frontier, where the L is used in the source instead of the R.
