Bon Iver Schedules Late Autumn Tour
Over the last week, more than one person has mentioned to me how pleased they are that, as the temps drop and the sun sets just a bit earlier every afternoon, we're getting into what they call "Bon Iver weather."
I can see that; any opportunity to make Justin Vernon's autumnal mini-epic For Emma, Forever Ago that much more evocative and lovely, you might as well take. How fitting, then, that through the final few weeks of the fall, Vernon will hit the road both in Europe and in the States to bring out his tunes in the climes to which they are best suited.
Kristian Matsson, better known as Swedish Dylan devotee The Tallest Man on Earth, will join Bon Iver for all of his U.S. shows.
