Metro Sports is a regional sports network serving the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. It launched on December 12, 1996 and is currently seen on several local cable systems.

Metro Sports produces live sporting events for professional sports teams such as the Kansas City Wizards and Kansas City Brigade. Metro Sports also produces live sporting events for college sports conferences such as the Big 12 Conference, Mountain West Conference, Missouri Valley Conference, and the Summit League. In addition, local NAIA and high school teams are also shown on the network. Metro also carried many Kansas City Royals games from 2003 to 2007, after which it lost the rights to FSN Midwest.

Metro also airs "The Metro Sports Report" as part of the nightly newscast on CBS affiliate KCTV in Kansas City and has published a book, More Than The Score: Kansas City Sports Memories.

The Metro Sports-produced "Fantasy Huddle", a weekly Fantasy Football show, is also distributed to other Time Warner Cable systems nationwide. [1]

The Kansas City Wizards Major League Soccer games are simulcast using a secondary audio program channel in Spanish.
