A poem for Thanksgiving

November 25, 4:19 PM
POEM FOR THANKS GIVING

Spirit sings this day,
a time for celebration.

Too long has risk
been ruled by fear.
Too long have we
forgotten our
thanks giving.

Here we stand
to start anew
with hope
and faith
and strength
of will.

Here we feel
the joy of
new beginnings
and are reminded
within our souls
how thankfulness
enlarges
the heart.
