State-of-the-art reports are currently available for economics, political science, sociology, empirical social research as well as for the development of social science data archives in Eastern Europe. The Knowledge Base full-text archive also contains cross-national articles on the state of the development of demography, cultural anthropology and legal studies in Eastern Europe.

Written by experts from the region, the reports provide analysis and description of the development and current state of social sciences in Eastern Europe. The country studies on economics, political science and sociology are additionally accompanied by discussing comments written by peer-reviewers.
