Oakville holiday craft fair

December 6, 4:33 PM

Oakville Schools are holding their annual Holiday Craft Fair today and tomorrow at Oakville High School. They have an abundance of booths this year, with both gyms filled as well as the commons. It is worth checking out. In order to participate, the crafters have to have hand-made items; nothing can be commercially mass produced. It is one of the larger craft fairs in the area. There seemed to be more jewelry than anything else; lots of bead work. Some of the other items were candles, Christmas decorations, flower arrangements and wreaths, baby items, and a lot of wall decorations. Gates open at 9am, and the parking lot fills quickly. My advice is to arrive early for premium parking.
