Ivan Klasnić scored twice as FC Nantes came from behind to hand leaders Olympique Lyonnais their third Ligue 1 defeat of the season.

Klasnić double
The French champions looked on course for victory when Frédéric Piquionne put them in front two minutes before the interval, but as they sat back to defend their lead Klasnić pounced, drawing the Brittany side level on 60 minutes before clinching the points with a penalty a minute from time. It was Lyon's third match in a row without a win and Olympique de Marseille took full advantage of this latest slip, winning 2-1 at home to OGC Nice to climb to within three points of Lyon in second.

Niang injured
Olivier Echouafni's 14th-minute own goal put OM in command and they went into the break 2-0 in front thanks to Mamadou Niang's penalty on the stroke of half-time. The home side, however, did not have things all their own way. Former OM player Habib Bamogo pulled a goal back for Nice in the 48th minute before Niang hobbled off after fracturing a bone in the big toe on his right foot and will be out until January. Nice drop to fifth but have a game in hand.

Rennes draw
Victory took Marseille above FC Girondins de Bordeaux, who won 2-1 at home to Valenciennes FC on Friday night, and Stade Rennais FC, who were held to a 1-1 draw at SM Caen. Substitute Moussa Sow cancelled out Benjamin Nivet's 45th-minute strike with 14 minutes to play to extend Rennes's unbeaten league run to 14 matches. Elsewhere, LOSC Lille Métropole drew for the third match in succession, 1-1 at home to Toulouse FC, while AS Saint-Etienne moved above Le Havre AC and out of the relegation zone with a 2-0 win at home to the northern side.
