Twilight (2008) Movie Review

19 December 2008 8:00 PM, PST

I think Twilight was an excelent movie. It shows that teens today have things alot harder that we ever had it in our day. The actors were excelent the fact that Bella did not smile much in the movie is so trivial. She was a teenager in a new town and a new school and if that wasn't enough turmoil, she falls in love with a Vampire.  This is a love story that is so typical of teenagers today. It is not easy for one reason or another. The fact that Edward is a vampire just replaces someone being from the wrong family or the wrong side of town. Maybe the fact that they have ...

Twilight (2008) Movie Review

19 December 2008 8:00 PM, PST

I just finished reading the 4th book 3 days ago and just got home from watching the movie.  I would say that overall I did like it.  I do not see how anyone who had not read the book could understand the movie at all.  I really felt like I was watching a Lifetime channel movie rather than one on the big screen.   know that when the movie was purchased, the budget was for 30million becuase they did not think that it was going to gross a lot of profit, but once the books when flying off the shelves, the movie soared as well.  So I guess all that leaves us with...

The Jungle Book Movie Review

19 December 2008 8:00 PM, PST

If your looking for a family movie that's filled with charm, style and substance that everyone can enjoy then look no further then Disney's "The Jungle Book" based on Rudyard Kipling's novel. It's fun family fare for everyone. It's the story about a boy named Mowgli who lives together with a bear named Baboo along with other zany characters in the deep woods as he tries make his way to the men village. The animated musical adventure is classic Disney at it's best . The music is first rate (lively, upbeat, fun and even meaningful, like the classic song, "The Bare Necessities"). ...

The Spirit Movie Reviews.. Its a Bomb?

18 December 2008 8:00 PM, PST

It would seem that The Spirit is living up to fanboy expectations and is really sucking big time. Despite an all start cast the movie is being called one of the worst films ever made and a complete dissapointment by various outlets who have already seen it and posted reviews. AICN declared this movie to be worse then BattleField Earth which is considered the Worst movie ever made by many. The question becomes do you plan to see The Spirit? Will critic reviews stop you from going out? If you have seen The Spirit and liked it or did not like it feel free to submit your own Spirit Review.  ...

Twilight (2008) Movie Review

18 December 2008 8:00 PM, PST

Read the books and think the movie was awesome. Special effects could have been better. Thought there was great chemistry between Kristin and Robert and he did a fantastic job, facial expressions like at the science table when he got her scent, when he was hurting, etc.

Their kissing scene was hot and tortured, and their dance at prom where you thought he would bite her, amazing. For such a young actor he played the part so well, that is a great thing for any woman to see.

We should all be so lucky to be swept away by an Edward. Been 3 times and can't wait to buy it.

Mamma Mia (2008) Movie Review

17 December 2008 8:00 PM, PST

If your into nostalgia musically, a big Abba fan and don't mind Pierce Brosnan's feeble attempts at singing then you'll enjoy this musical ride down memory lane. Even if you're not an Abba fan, I still think you would enjoy this movie. The storyline (a love story) is great, the acting is terrific and the continuity throughout the picture is awesome. Benny (or is it Bjorn?) Andersson (one of the original Abba members) was an executive producer of the film and I believe has found another so called underdiscovered talent; at least in movies. This movie (recently released on DVD) has everything;...

Twilight (2008) Movie Review

17 December 2008 8:00 PM, PST

I have read the books and have seen the movie. The chemistry between Pattinson and Stewart is hot. I was very please with all performances. Casting did a good job with all characters. Glad they waited to pick Rob saved the best for last. He was adorable as Cedric Diggory. Kristen was great in Panic Room she is a seasoned performer. Both have potential. Can't wait to see Little Ashes, and for BBC to release Haunted Airman. This is a good love story and the good versus evil. Rob played the character as mature considering his age of 22 he grasped the concept of Edward perfectly. Can't wait to...
