MDOT to host public meeting regarding 2010 sound wall construction at the I-94/US-24 interchange

WHAT: A public meeting regarding the upcoming construction of a sound wall at the interchange of I-94 and US-24 (Telegraph Road) in Taylor.

BACKGROUND: MDOT is currently designing plans for a sound wall to be constructed at the I-94/US-24 interchange. This project is intended to reduce the level of traffic noise near the newly constructed single point urban interchange.

Interested residents are encouraged to stop by to provide input and review the project with MDOT staff before the design is completed.

The project is expected to begin in 2010.
