Kevin Serge Durand (born January 14, 1974) is a Canadian actor known for his roles as Joshua in Dark Angel and as Martin Keamy in Lost.

[edit] Early life
Durand was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. He attended St. Ignatius High School. Durand's first acting experience was in high school drama class. Kevin went to the University of Windsor to train for his acting career in 1994. He dropped out early and moved to Toronto to work in the local theatre scene for several years. His first big movie break was when he was cast in Mystery Alaska.

Kevin Durand is known as an intense chameleonesque character actor. He has acted alongside Ashton Kutcher in the movie The Butterfly Effect as cellmate Carlos, the Chicano who aids him against disgruntled Aryans in lock-up.

He has played series regulars on shows such as James Cameron's "Dark Angel" as Joshua, Agent Jay Swopes in the American miniseries remake of Touching Evil, as well as guest roles on "CSI Miami", "CSI"," E.R.", "Without a Trace," "Dead Like Me," and quite a few more. He also recurred on the television show Stargate SG-1 as "Lord Zipacna".
Kevin appeared in the hit television show Lost during its fourth season, where he played the antagonist Martin Keamy for 8 episodes.

Some film credits include the role of "Tree" in Mystery, Alaska; "Booth" in Walking Tall, bikie sidekick Red in Wild Hogs and the psychotic neo-nazi Jeeves Tremor in Smokin' Aces the title role in the yet to be released Otis E. and the remake of 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. It has just been announced that Kevin is set to play the Blob in the new X-Men movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and will be playing the role of Gabriel opposite Paul Bettany in "Legion." Kevin created the role of "Injun Joe" on Broadway in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." Kevin Durand is 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m).
