Lykke Li Announces North American Tour

Swedish songbird Lykke Li has revealed another North American tour in support of her debut album, Youth Novels. This new tour begins January 31 in Washington, DC; the rest of Lykke Li's 2008 is filled with European and Australian dates.

Also in 2009, we can expect to see Lykke Li light up the, um, computer screen on Josh Schwartz's web TV show "Rockville, CA".

For those who can't wait to see ol' girl, tune into mtvU's Woodie Awards on November 19. Peter, Bjorn and John's Bjorn Yttling and Au Revoir Simone will be her backing band, and she'll join Q-Tip for a rendition of A Tribe Called Quest's "Can I Kick It". It's too bad Phife won't be there, 'cause no one can take the place of our favorite funky diabetic.
